Chu and Algie’s wedding took place in early spring at Thornbury Castle, a Tudor Grade I-listed structure where King Henry VIII reputedly stayed with then-consort Anne Boleyn for ten days. The fresh, frosty palette was centred around pale pink and white, inspired by delicate florals such as wisteria, peonies and baby’s breath.

I designed the wedding stationery including the invitation suite: save-the-dates, day and evening invites, menu inserts and event day elements: orders of service, place cards, seating plan and table talkers named after the places Chu and Algie had explored together.

I also helped with the styling and decorating of the wedding venue: creating a floral wall and hanging centrepiece from faux wisteria, with clusters of grey candles and blooms tucked away in cosy nooks.
